Join Our Volunteer Team Be an Agent for Change

 Our challenge is for you to try serving with us just once! We have a role for you, whether you have one hour or days to spare. You may serve alone or with a few friends. You can even bring your kids with you for some tasks. Your participation positively impacts the individuals we serve, the other volunteers who serve alongside you, and our staff. 

Volunteering is a way to develop new skills, meet new people, and gain insight into the lives of those you meet. By getting involved, you set an example for the next generation who is eager to make their own difference in the community around them. You will also find a sense of community that you didn't know as missing. The men and women you are serving need to witness that someone in their community truly cares and wants to see them soar. Volunteer Opportunities

There are many ways to get involved at Wenatchee Rescue Mission. Whether you enjoy hands-on service, organizing behind the scenes, or building relationships, there is a place for you.

Meal & Food Support

• Serve a meal
• Prep fruits and vegetables, and cook meat
• Pack sack lunches
• Wash dishes
• Sort donated food
• Pack family food boxes

Guest Support Services

• Help with the Laundry Service
• Assemble hygiene kits and pet kits
• Sort clothing in our clothing room
• Make donation runs for items we cannot use.

Facility & Campus Projects

• Assist with painting, cleaning, organizing, and minor repairs.
• Work in our garden, water trees
   

Community Engagement

• Organize a food or clothing drive
• Host an event, group service project, or fundraiser
• Serve as a Mission Ambassador—share your mission experience with others. Celebrate what God is doing at Wenatchee Rescue Mission, and inspire support.
